Internationally recognised as an artist in 2013 in Washington DC at an opening of an exhibition, Ubuhle Women: Beadwork and The Art of Independence, at The Smithsonian. Zandile is one of the 5 artists who are recognised as creating a new genre, The Ndwango.

Her art is now part of major Museum collections and is highly sought after by private collectors.
